Menzel Strings

We carry a full range of Menzel stringed instruments, including 1/8 size, 1/4 size, 1/2 size, and full size violins, violas, cellos and double basses.In addition, we carry a range of Menzel coloured violins, available in all sizes.

Lessons in violin, viola or cello are available to people of all ages through the Renaissance School of Music.

Gewa Strings

New this year we are happy to be able to carry the Gewa line of string instruments. Founded in 1925, Gewa instruments are hand-made instruments, designed in Germany. Gewa has become one of the most popular and well-known brands in Europe.

Available in full size, 3/4 size, 1/2 size, 1/4 size and 1/8 size, the Gewa instruments come with a sturdy case, Thomastik strings, ebony chinrest, and a natural hair bow with an ebony frog.
