Recorder

One of the earliest woodwind instruments, the recorder, has in recent years been incorporated into the Ontario public school curriculum as a primary teaching tool, generating renewed enthusiasm for this once ubiquitous woodwind instrument. The recorder is found throughout the contemporary music scene in many genres, including celtic, popular, classical and folk, and a renewed interest in the study and performance of baroque music has made the recorder more popular than ever before.
